Okay, switching to a new book (for now): Here is a list of gems that can be used as names.

Amethyst - this is my birthstone, so I sort of like it as a name, but I'd be wary of using anything with the word 'meth' in it :-/

I sell Mary Kay and we have an eye shadow called Cinnabar. It's pretty popular, which is why I noticed. :P
