meeee again!

So Hubby and I are pretty certain we are going to name our baby girl Amelia....but we are sooo lost on middle names.

We were stuck between Celia Rowan and Eliza Rowan, but we are not sure if Rowan sounds good with Amelia. Amelia Rowan...Im not sure.

We would rather the middle name be "less common"...since Amelia is on the more popular side. So...no Grace, no Rose..

PLEASE help me with middle name combinations!! I really appreciate it.

I suck at name suggestions, but for some reason, Amelia Jade popped into my head. Then again, Jade is becoming popular too. But I'm sure everyone else will have some great suggestions for you :)
Not sure if you said you were pregnant right now or not, but if you are, congrats! :)

Amelia June. Amelia Grey. Amelia Kate. Amelia Iris. Amelia Anne. (Anne might be too common, but I added it because it certainly isn't "trendy"!) Amelia Sybil, Amelia Olive. Amelia Esme. :)

I think Amelia Kate is amazing, and Amelia Ruth is nice too.

I think Rowan goes with Amelia just as well as it does with Celia or Eliza. It's fine, but not particularly spectacular with any of them. Maybe just because I am not excited by the name Rowan, so I'm pretty neutral to the combo.

You've got lots of great suggestions in this thread and Amelia is a lovely name- congratulations and best wishes!

If he really loves it and you're ok with it then I can see why you would use it. Especially if he doesn't like Amelia as much as you do and it's a compromise of sorts.

I think it's fine either way. I've grown to see names more on their own than with middle names since I've been with my husband, because he's Chinese and nobody in his family has middle names. For those who have an English name they go by, they use their chinese name in place of a legal middle name, so that's what we're going to do. So our kids' names are going to sound very unflowy in the conventional sense. But that's fine because if the first and middle name don't flow, people won't say it all together as much and it won't make any difference.

Ok I went off on a tangent but basically I get the husband thing and think that if it's about middle names then it's all good

I think Amelia Rowan sounds better than Rowan with either of the other two names, to be honest.

I still love Eliza Rowan.

I suggest you stick with "M" names for the middle, since I think thouse sound best when you have an M in the first name where it is. For instance, the name Amy Morgan sounds like it fits together, you know?

So, let's see...

Amelia Mallory
Amelia Margaret
Amelia Maureen
Amelia Meadow
Amelia Melanie
Amelia Maria(h) (mah-RYE-uh)
Amelia Mirielle
Amelia Mona
Amelia Myra

So yeah, there's a few for you to think about:]
