How does someone convince their significant other of a name? My husband isn't interested in looking at name for our baby girl but he continues to shoot down all the names I've suggested. The only name he likes is 'Elizabeth'. While, it's a nice name I don't want it as a first name because my mom is determined to call the child 'lizzy' if we do. I absolutely love the name Charlotte and I've gotten him to say it's 'okay'.

What do you think of Charlotte Elizabeth? I've only gotten positive replies, except the baby's name is going to be long because our last name has eight letters.

I actually knew sisters named Charlotte and Elizabeth, called Lizzie.
