I love the name Nole/Noel for a boy but i'm trying to figure out the correct spelling. Wdyt of the name itself also? Any nicknames you can think of? I personally like the spelling Nole better because to me Noel is too much like Noel (No-Elle for a girl) What middle name would sound good with Nole/Noel?
Also wdyt of the names Emmolyn/Emmalyn (Emma-lin) and Adalyn (Ad-a-lin) for girls?
And one more, do you think giving your child a kinda "out there" name for a middle name is just as bad as giving them a weird name as a first name?
Thanks :-)

Date: 2008-06-18 03:12 am (UTC)So it must be one of those names that is very different here than in the USA. I know so many old men called Noel (pronounced Nole), and absolutely no females called Noel or Noelle. This seems very different from other people's comments though.
I am not a fan of Emmalyn or Adalyn, but I totally think they would be so much nicer as Emmaline and Adeline. They look sweet and French and more timeless this way.
