I'm not planning on having kids for a few years yet but I love thinking about their names. I'm Scottish and I think I'm fairly traditional with names. My last name is Scott but I'm hopeful I would be married to my boyfriend whose surname is Hill.

My favourite girls name is: Rachel Catherine

I don't really have many ideas other than that - I have a big feeling that I will only have boys but who knows! I'd love more girl names!

Boys names are much more difficult. I like:

Michael (not sure my boyfriend would let me use this as this is after my favourite racing driver!)
Andrew
David (boyf's middle name so probably a no)
Matthew
James

Any suggestions?

some of my top boys names are max, lucas, oliver and eli (havent decided on the full name of that one yet, either elias or elliott). james is nice though, out of your list, again, i just wouldnt use it. but theres absolutely nothing wrong with any of the names youve picked out, and theres definitely something to be said for the standards with all the crazy yoonik names people are cursing their kids with these days!
