My friend and I were discussing Anais today (can't figure out how to do the double dots, sorry!) - how exactly is the "proper" way to pronounce it?

haha no don't worry. my replies are usually long. I do French at school, so I really wanted to give it its own syllable, like, say, 'ebai' (double dots) is more or less eba-i, and 'inoui' likewise (in-oo-i). I wasn't sure, though, so I thought I'd ask. Yay for being bilingual and making educated guesses :)
