[identity profile] cube1of6.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
i think i've **finally** come to a decision on a name. i'm almost afraid to post it for fear of being berated and then doubting myself. i want to know what you think in terms of the two middle names thing. no one in my family has two middle names, but i'm torn about it and i want to use two middle names--but i think it might be too long.

so for better or worse..here are my names, parenthesis on the middle name that would be second if i chose to have a second name.

Boy:
Landry Mark (Otis)

Girl:
Ainsley Margaret (True)

edit: I should note that I'm due Nov 27th. And hopefully I'll find out here within the next month what I'm having.

If he ever buys a house, he won't be able to get away with just writing down part of his name. Even if his name was twelve names long, he'd have to write the whole thing out, usually in triplicate.

When we bought our house, both hubby and I just wrote our middle initial, we didn't have to spell out our middle names.

I fact, we just refinanced our mortgage and had to sign all those papers again, and we didn't even use my middle initial, just my first and last name.

I've bought two houses and sold one, and it was never indicated that that would be acceptable, in fact, it was always specified that we should write out our FULL name, so I wonder if the laws are different in your part of the country.

Possibly so. We obviously bought the house (3.5 years ago) so it must have been ok here. Where are you? I'm in Northern Maryland.
