Haha so everyone seems to hate my Ireland idea.....what about this other one that has long been on my favorites list:

It sounds pretty, but the spelling might throw people off. It looks like it would read "I-LEE-UH".

Are there any spelling variations? Like Eilee or Eileigh [those look a little awkward though =/]

Oh & I didn't get to comment on your other entry, but I personally love Ireland as a first name. I went to college with a girl named Ireland and she also went by her nickname Irie [pronounced "Eye-ree"]. I always thought it was a gorgeous name, maybe I'm just biased because I'm Irish ;P

This is how I would have pronounced it as well
