Don't hate me!
Apr. 28th, 2008 01:22 pmOk, I am as tired as everyone else of Aiden/Caden/Braden/Jaden etc. But this one struck me for some reason.
A little girl came into where I work called Shaeden (prn Shay-den). She was Irish, and it looks sort of Gaelic written down, so I don't know if it's made up or not.
I think if I'd have heard it before I read the name tag, I wouldn't have liked it at all. But because of the spelling, and the fact that it struck me as Gaelic, I don't know - I just didn't lump it in with the other -aden names out there (also, her middle name is Blake, which is one of my favourite names - albiet for a boy - so that might have made methink differently about it) And while I wouldn't use it I think I might actually kinda like it....
Just wondering what people thought?
