So I've been watching a lot of 'Dead Like Me' lately; the main character's name is Georgia, nn George.  I've never been fond of the name George, esp. on a girl... though, come to think of it, in the original Nancy Drew novels, one of her girl friends was called George, and I think I liked it then, when I was younger.   I've never really liked state names ((Virginia, Dakota, etc.)) on people either, although they might have started out as people names ((I honestly wouldn't know, but that's what I assume)). 

However, Georgia, and George ((for a girl)), have grown on me, so much that I feel it may make an appearance on my top 20 list.  Georgia feels classic and elegant to me, very stately ((no pun intended...)) with a rather timeless charm; also, I've always been a big unisex name person and have come to like the idea of a girl named George ((maybe it's just the tv show)). 

So, anyway, I was curious what ya'll thought.

Bonus question: ^ ^  Her sister's name is Reggie.  They never say if it's a nickname or not.  I don't really like it at all.  WDYT?

A movie? Yes! Well, I would love it more if they'd bring the show back, but only if they kept the same actors.

I really like the name Mason too, but after I saw the show, I adored it. ^ ^
Rube and Roxy are interesting names, and really fit the characters, but I don't know if I'd ever actually use them. Maybe on a cat.

lol yes! a MOVIE!!! lol so spread the 'dead like me' dvd's and get ppl hooked... so they'll buy/rent/watch the film and if THAT does well... they may bring the show back. :D

MASON: There you go Emily

EMILY: This isn't a bunny rabbit
MASON: Yes, there are the ears
EMILY: What is it really?
RUBE: Go ask your mother
as she leaves Mason pats her on the head
BOY: I want a bunny rabbit balloon like Emily's
MASON: I bet you do sweetheart

MASON: Bloody Hell. I do believe that is a chinese symbol for "aim here"
RUBE: Wow.

MASON: I'm sorry Rube, I'm sorry that youre a hundred years old and
will never get to spank that
