Theodor(e)?

Theo is currently, and has been for a while, on the very top of my boys names. However, I'm wondering about the spelling for the full name. I like Theodor because it's how Dr. Seuss spelled it, and I have a thing for Dr. Seuss. But does it seem incomplete?

Also, middle name ideas would be welcome.

Me too, which makes me sad. I keep changing it to Theodore on my list and The Lorax peers at me from my bookshelves, and I remember how he said that he speaks for the trees for the trees have no tongues, and then I have to change it to Theodor again.
