I dont have any kids and am not pregnant...yet. The boyfriend and I are hoping for kids in the next year or so, after I've finished uni.
We've already got the names picked (a bit ahead of ourselves) and I was wondering what people thought. We love them but we've had mixed reactions...

Boy:

Kacey William Alexandar
- William after my grandad
-Alexandar after my dad's step-dad and my great grandad

Girl:

Bethan Raen Alexandria
- Raen standing for Rapley Ansley Elizabeth Nicholson (all family names)
- Alexandria after a friend of my boyfriend

or

Eva-Rei Elizabeth
- Eva-Rei pronounced Ay-va Ray
- Elizabeth is a family name

I like the name Bethan, never heard it before. It's nice. But it sounds funny with Raen since they end the same. I'd do Bethan Alexandria or Raen Alexandria.

Eva-Rei looks like it'd be pronounced Ee-va Rye to me. I'd do Ava Rae. The Rei part isn't as big of a deal though. But definitely Ava.

I like William Alexandar (and I love the spelling now that I read the story behind it) and I'd have him go by Alex, but I don't like Kacey. At least I'd spell it Casey if I used it, it looks more masculine.

The story of Bethan is in my reply to <ljuser="thorabrighid">. I really like it and I've fallen in love with Bethan Raen. I like both names seperate and thought it sounded a bit strange together at first but it's really grown on me.

Eva-Rei is the Japanese spelling, as I heard it in an anime. Still don't know if it will be used as it's not our first choice for a girls name.

I don't really like the name Alex. I knew a girl at school called Alex and I hated her. Really put me off the name.

The spelling Casey is starting to grow on me but I knes a girl called Casey so I've always associated that spelling with a girl's name. I originally liked Corey but it's co popular and it's my brother's future nephews name.
