Ever read Romeo & Juliet? :)
Remember Romeo's old girlfriend?
Her name was Rosaline(roz-ah-line).
I read the play in grade 9, completely loved the play & that name.
It really stuck with me and now I am wondering what everyone thinks of it.
Does it sound too pretentious? Just throwing it out thurr. :P
WDYT?

I think it's pretty and very feminine. Or, if her personality is not girly, Roz is a cool nickname.

Rosalind is one of my favorite names. I plan on naming my future girl Neva Rosalind.

I like the name Rosaline, but I am more likely to name my daughter Juliet :-) Therefore it's probably an excellent name because it will be less popular, but not totally wacko!

I love it. I love almost all Rose- names. I love the nickname Rosie, but they sound great when older. Although I prefer Rosalind.

Great name. I love the nickname Ros for it. I also like Rosalyn, but I think prefer this -ine ending. I don't think it's a pretentious name at all.

I don't think it's pretentious.
It's not really my style, but it is pretty. Here we would pronounce it Roe-sah-leen.

Wait, is the name like "rawzzz" or "rose"?
If it's "rose", then I think it sounds better with a "lyn" sound at the end more than "line".
But if it's "rawz", then I think that the "line" sounds better.
