Apr. 15th, 2008 03:24 pmThere is a professor at my former school who has a daughter named Skatje. Does anyone know how to pronounce this??? There is another name I saw today, Connlann Amergyn. I want to pronounce this con-lan, but I'm probably wrong.... Anyone know about that name too?

And Amergyn sadly makes me think of Methergin (medication to make the uterus empty itself after interventions)

Date: 2008-04-19 01:48 pm (UTC)Yes, skatje & schatje have the exact same meaning. Skatje is just something younger people use more often, especially when they're talking to eachother on the internet and such. I guess you can compare it to people writing 'hunni' to eachother in e-mails, rather than 'honey'.
