The first thing that jumped to mind was Hailey Elizabeth, because that's the name of one of my best friends. It sounds nice to me.
Scarlett is a bit of different name to me, since it's the name of my cat, so I can't really see it on a person. It would probably sound better as Ava Scarlett though.
Kennedi is sure cute! my name's Bobbi so I appreciate names spelled with an 'i' lol Since it's kind of unique for a girl maybe the middle could be something common like Marie or Anne?
Kennedi is terrible. I mean, it's bad just as Kennedy, but with the i, it's just awful. I'm not trying to be a bitch or anything, but it sounds so trendy and trashy.
Hailey is just kind of... blah. Scarlett Ava is okay, but again... trendy. But 100x better than Kennedi!
Oh, sorry, but generally when people post names on this community, I assume they don't have a problem with hearing what people think. Usually if you list names in a post, they're fair game for people to comment on.
Both Ava and Scarlett are pretty trendy right now, but I think either Scarlett Ava or Ava Scarlett works.
The other two, I'm sorry to say, are only little girl names. I can't imagine either name working on an adult, and to me it just looks like it is Kennedy (as in JFK) spelled wrong.
Because most people realize that Kennedi is more of a girls' name than a guys. Saying it's just a dead president's name is just dumb, I'm pretty sure that family wasn't the only people named Kennedy.
I never said JUST. In fact, I just scrolled up to check. Nope. In fact, I even said that anything CAN be a baby name.
But I can guarantee you when most people hear "Kennedy" (or Kennedi, as I'm assuming you're pronouncing it the same) their first thought is JFK or his family, not girl's first name.
Try it. Make a poll in an unrelated community like Ask Me Anything and say:
"When you hear Kennedy, your first thought is:
A. Baby girl! B. JFK C. Kennedy family, not JFK D. Some other person"
Go on. Try it! Why take my word for it? I'm just some person you already don't like. Get a larger sample group.

Date: 2008-04-08 10:10 pm (UTC)I don't like Kennedi at all. I like Kennedy. Kennedy Meghan is the first combination that came to mind.
I like Hailey, but I prefer the spellings Hayley and Haley. Hailey Tara is the first thing I thought of.
