MICHAEL IS MICHAEL. NOT MICHEAL. PLEASE SPELL THE CLASSIC NAME OF THE ARCHANGEL RIGHT IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT. KTHX.

My thoughts exactly. It's Michael.

[identity profile] tofersmomma.livejournal.com 2006-01-19 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
But even if you wanted to spell it another way, that's your decision to make.

[identity profile] elizebethjoy.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 02:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry... I don't really like any of them. But if I HAD to pick, it would be Keegan Edmond Michael Masters.

All of them are a mouthful, and I wouldn't pair Michael and Keaton because of the actor.

[identity profile] amandavanessa.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Please don't spell it "Micheal". It's Michael.

[identity profile] invisiblepet.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
No Michael Keaton.
No Michael Jackson, even it is spelled Jaxon.

Jackson is more classic and will stand the test of time and teasing over Jaxon.

Keegan Michael Stephen Masters is my vote, but that's still a mouthful for a small boy.

[identity profile] elizebethjoy.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, yes, I missed the Michael Jackson bit... I would steer clear of that one, too.

[identity profile] composure.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't vote. If you spelled it Jackson, that would be my vote. If you're dead set on the x, then my vote's for Keaton as a first name, but I wouldn't but Michael with it. Michael Keaton is an actor.

[identity profile] composure.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't even realize the Michael Jackson thing. Nevermind. Yeah... I vote for Joe Smith.

[identity profile] babyalligator.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
they sound like tributes to washed-up stars. at least keaton micheal and jaxon micheal do. and they're not even spelled properly.
i'm sorry - i think these are horrible names. i would choose joe smith before i chose any of them.

[identity profile] ewaeva.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
None of the above. Why so many names? And I don't like any of the first names.

There is no reason to spell Jackson with an X. It looks ridiculous, like someone was trying to make it look exxxtra cool by sticking an X in there.

Also, don't give your child a name you don't know how to spell.

i really love the name keegan but def. spell michael correctly.

[identity profile] turabiannights.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I love Keegan Michael Stephen, spelled like that. Jaxon Michael and Keaton Michael are just too much like Michael Jackson and Michael Keaton for me.

[identity profile] arbus.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
jaxon? really?

[identity profile] lipsandhips.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
jaxon michael? michael jackson?
keaton michael? michael keaton?

[identity profile] krazyhippie.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL i didn't even catch that!

[identity profile] krazyhippie.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
i picked the fourth but i'd prefer spelling it Jackson Michael

keegan edmond...try saying that 5 times fast. ;)

[identity profile] eat-a-rainbow.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
i like stephen michael jaxon masters.

[identity profile] krosp.livejournal.com 2006-01-11 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
The problem with these names is that they are all four two-syllable words in a row. It sounds like a person walking with a limp across a wooden floor. Maybe change one of the middle names to something shorter or longer. I like the first names in this order: Jaxon, Keegan, Keaton.

[identity profile] elizebethjoy.livejournal.com 2006-01-12 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
Great visual...and you're right! Are you a writer?

[identity profile] krosp.livejournal.com 2006-01-12 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks... no I'm not a writer but I'm glad you liked my analogy

[identity profile] cathkitten.livejournal.com 2006-01-12 01:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Why two middle names? Unless you have some sort of reason for doing so, why do it? For instance, boys in my family are always given the grandmother's maiden names as middle names. So my first son will be John Cory Daniels [last name]. I'm not a fan the double middle name because it usually, I think, makes it sound like you are trying to be faux royalty, i.e., Princess Catherine Amelia Elinor Mary.

my big brother's name is Keegan and I love that name to death.

ever thought of Keegan Patrick? :)

[identity profile] tofersmomma.livejournal.com 2006-01-19 05:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry I couldn't vote either.

The names on their own or couples are beautiful but I'm so dead set against giving children more than three names (first, middle and last). It's sad when you cannot write your whole name out on forms.
