Thanks for all the comments on our girl's name list, it helped us out a LOT.

My fiance and I both decided our favorite name on our list is Vera. Then he suggested spelling it Veira. I think it looks more complete spelled that way, but I also think it looks like we just butchered a classic name and are trying to be unique. Thoughts?

I would suggest Veera then, instead of Veira. vei = /vey" to me.

We thought of Veera, but we both think it looks kind of ugly. Why is this so hard!? haha

I immediately pronounced it as VEER-uh when I read Veira. I think that spelling works just fine for what you want.
