Hi, all.  I'm about four months along with my first baby and need help choosing a girl's name.  (Don't know yet if we're having a girl or boy but if we have a boy, hubby has already decided to name him Jacob.)

Sure, the names are all really common, but you could do a lot worse. Your kid might always be one of three Avas or Emmas or Jacobs in a class, but at least their name won't look tacky and dated in twenty years, like Nevaeh, or Addison, or Jayden. If you care about popularity, I would advise you to pick a name that's not in the top ten (you can find popularity stats HERE (http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/100us2006.php)), but if you don't care, go for it... they're all nice names.

My aunt just named her son Jayden. Except I think they spelled it Jaden.
