Names that wouldn't be good for a child because they have too much of a stigma...

tiffany- seems like a bimbo name.
Britney- drug addled singer
Adolf- well,  obviously...
Madeleine- The Madeleine Mccann situation has really ruined that name for me. I know this woman who was considering it for her future daughter but doesn't like it anymore because any time she thinks of it she thinks of the missing girl.
Hillary- you could never say that name without thinking of the politician
Katrina- the Hurricane

anymore?

I didn't get the impression that she meant people would react to it in a negative way... just that people would always think of Hillary Clinton. Like if you named your kid Diana, people would think of Princess Diana.

I wouldn't. I met two Dianas this summer and didn't think of it once!

Haha, fair enough, it might not have been the best analogy. Personally I wouldn't automatically think of Hillary Clinton if I heard the name Hillary, either.

To me "stigma" implies a negative connotation. But I guess I shouldn't assume it's like that for everyone, you're right. My bad!

Looks like she did mean it in a negative way, so you were right, and I was wrong! :P
