Yeah, Lutherans are what I first think of. And it's not really a negative association. I'm just not religious myself, so religious sounding names are a turn-off for me. Martin Luther King is a pretty immediate second though, which I think is a cool association. But I like the name Martin a lot more than Luther, sound-wise.
The whole Cedric Diggory thing annoys me since Cedric has been a favorite since before the Harry Potter books were even written. It seems to be an association that is already fading a little bit though. The other comments I get are about Cedric the Entertainer who I am only vaguely familiar with. I don't really see a comedian as that big of a negative though.
Freya is just cool because we don't see it a lot (where I am in the US anyway). I would be so, so much more intrigued to meet a child named Freya than a child named Ava or Olivia or Isabelle. And I think it's pretty too. Just my opinion though.
