a friend suggested ella delilah

we would call her delilah

any other suggestions ?

I think its really difficult to find a matching name for delilah :(

Hmm. Is it? Didn't know.

I named my son something that I didn't think flowed, the vice versa of his name sounded better to my ears... prior to him being born. Now that he's here I couldn't imagine having his name any other way.

His name is Alexander Phillip. I wanted Phillip Alexander. :) But my boyfriend said no. :(

Gosh, sorry. You just wrote that elsewhere in the post and I didn't connect it as you.

Funny as the names are quite similar. Usually we take a dislike to names that are very much different or sound quite dissonant to us. He just didn't like the rhythm?

He didn't like the fact that we would be calling him a nickname of his middle name. We call our son Xander. And people would be like, "How did you get "Xander" from Phillip??"

So, I reluctantly changed it around.
