That makes sense... but it's different when they're born and how things flow. I always wanted a son named Phillip Alexander because I thought that sounded nice. but I would call him by his middle name (Xander for short). Now I have Alexander Phillip and to me, Phillip Alexander doesn't sound flow-y anymore.

I like the name Delilah though. Love it, actually.

Delilah Rae is cute :D But I love the middle name Rae.

Deliliah + One Syllable

Rae sounds nice. I think Delilah and other three syllable names sound best with a one syllable second name. This would be especially true if you have a multisyllabic German last name (don't know what it is, obviously, just saying it's important to consider the name as a whole as well as your given names).

Like "Gade/Gayd"? That seems easy enough and certainly makes a nice match for Delilah.

I admire you for searching for options and examining all the possibilities for a name you love.

Maybe it's too obvious, but if it's really that much of a problem, do you need a middle name?
