Sarah or Sara and why?

Sara. I think the "h" makes it more old lady-like. Plus, I think it looks prettier without it. I had a friend named Sara who always though that it was pronounced sare-ah as Sara and sah-rah- as Sarah. I don't think this is true, although it does make sense.
