My name is Stacey and usually when someone tries to spell my name I get Stacy or the occasional Stacie. I'm sure there are even people with the name that spell it Stacee or Stasee or some other variations...
I like my name spelled the way it is. Stacy seems incomplete to me. It just gets really annoying sometimes having it constantly misspelled.

Date: 2008-02-26 05:34 am (UTC)She, however, brought misspellings upon herself by changing her name to Liisa, after our Finnish great-grandmother. Our mom was going to spell her name like that when she was born but decided not to because she didn't want everyone spelling it wrong.
