My middle name is Maureen, and I've never really liked it.

I came across the name "Maurine" last night, which I personally liked a lot more. I never saw it anywhere before.

However the more I looked at it, the more I saw "ma-urine"...which is far less than pleasant.

...aaaaand that kind of ruined it for me.

Really? That gives me hope! But then again, I'm usually pretty oblivious to connotations like that, and I noticed it all on my own.. But otherwise I thought it was really pretty spelled that way.
