babynamesMy middle name is Maureen, and I've never really liked it.
I came across the name "Maurine" last night, which I personally liked a lot more. I never saw it anywhere before.
However the more I looked at it, the more I saw "ma-urine"...which is far less than pleasant.
...aaaaand that kind of ruined it for me.

Date: 2008-02-22 05:40 am (UTC)I was really happy and excited when I found it, and I really just wilted when it dawned on me what else it said.
I've always tried to think of ways to shorten Maureen into something I liked more. And all I've really come up with was "Mo" ...lol. Not quite what I was looking for either. Thank god I love my first name!
