Which spellings do you prefer? And, if you can, why?

Allie or Ally? (as a nickname for any of the 5 girl names on my list that begin with Al)

Catherine or Katherine?

Elliot or Elliott? (m)

Haley or Hayley?

Jodi, Jodie, or Jody?

Kristen or Kristin?

Lesley or Leslie? (f)

Stefanie or Stephanie?

I like all of these, and I'm trying to decide which spellings I like better.

2. Catherine (K names are usually trendy-ized spellings, and I don't like that)
3. Either...I guess Elliot? They're about the same to me.
4. Either one, but I HATE Hailey - it looks horrendously disgusting. Yuck. I've never met a Haley/Hayley that spelled it Hailey, so Hailey seems totally fake to me too.
