Dec. 26th, 2005 06:07 pmI got the book Wicked for Christmas, and I really find myself liking the name Nessarose. It think it's quite pretty. (I still probably wouldn't give it to a child, though.) What do you guys think?
Also, what are some of your favorite names that you got from books or movies?

That said, I'm not sure I like the idea of the name Nessarose. It seems like a weird amalgamation of Vanessa and Rose...both of which are fine names on their own, but I'm not sure I enjoy that particular type of combo. (Though if you're a diehard Wicked fan, it'd be funny to name your daughter Vanessa Rose just to see if anyone gets the reference...=D )
