What?

You mean there is someone else in the world besides me who didn't care when someone else in the class had the same name as them? The way people go on and on about how horrible it was to be "Jennifer F" had me thinking that I was really the only person in the world who didn't mind having an adjective tacked onto my name for clarification. (I've been "short Jess" or "little Jess" or some variation of that since I was 8 or so).

I know! I mean, I was never given a nickname like that, but I always wanted one. And any heartache I might've suffered from being "Meagan B" (which I never was, if only because all the teachers I've had were more fond of saying "YOU! OVER THERE! IN THE RED SHIRT! C'MERE!" than using names)? Still better than what I might've suffered while looking for little novelty souveniers and the like with "Maclyzzidny". I mean, as a kid I was always upset when there were no 'Meagan' keychains, only 'Megan', and it wasn't like it was incredibly hard to find 'Meagan'.
