its a band???
i got it from the book NEVERENDING STORY ---and i saw a family name their son that on A BABY STORY

I am aware it is from Neverending Story, but all I think of is the band. It's a heavy metal band that is actually quite popular. Google it.

George is the name of a band.
Killing Heidi is the name of a band.
Ugly Kid Joe, etc. Lots of band names have names.

I've never heard of the "quite popular" band Atreyu.

With that said, I don't like the name because I have no idea how to pronounce it.
