Sasha- I like it on either, I just can't use it because of mean girl I knew once.

Though, now that you mention it, I love the name Chiara. It's my besties name. ^__^
And yes, pronounced Key-arr-uh. ;]

Date: 2008-02-01 04:25 am (UTC)I would think Ipheion would be pronounced ih-FAY-on, but I don't really know. Either way, they're very pretty. (http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/Ipheion/Ipheion_uniflorum_Alberto_Castillo.jpg)
I don't care for Jaixen, especially as you're pronouncing it. Clarelle seems sort of bland, to me, and I don't like any day-names.

Date: 2008-02-01 04:32 am (UTC)Thursday and Ipheion are a bit out there, but could make good middle names with a plainer first name. I like Delilah Thursday or Sasha Ipheion.
I think Jaixen is an awkward name. It looks too much like it should be pronounced like Jake-son, or Jay-Chen, and the Jy-zen pronunciation sounds like someone has a hard time saying "Jason."
Clarelle sounds too contracted to me, like Claire Ella or Clarabelle slurred.

Date: 2008-02-01 04:39 am (UTC)I also like Sasha on boys (not on girls, though), and Clarelle could grow on me but sounds made-up. I don't like Artemis (although, again, it could grow on me), and I hate Thursday, Sierra (sounds very white trash to me), Jaixen, Jareth, or Ipheion.

Date: 2008-02-01 06:50 am (UTC)sierra is okay, but i'm not a fan. jaixen and jareth = :_( i feel like jareth is just a bad misspelling of jared, which i don't really like in the first place, and i can only hear jaixen in a fake southern accent: "j-ayk-son!" :P sasha's nice, but i just don't like it... clarelle strangly makes me think of makeup. clairol? isn't that something? hmm...

Date: 2008-02-01 02:01 pm (UTC)Thurday - I'm a sucker for day names, but on a guilty pleasure level, I suppose. I think it would work great for a cat, though.
Artemis - Pretty and unusual. Some girls might be able to pull it off. I'm a fan of Diana, myself.
Sierra - Noooooooooo.
Jaixen - Naw.
Jareth - Naw.
Ipheion - I foresee problems with spelling and pronunciation.
Sasha - Not a big fan, but I like it a little better on boys.
Clarelle - I'd prefer plain old Claire. My first thought when I read Clarelle was that it sounds like a brand of champagne.
