I saw the name Ivadell Viola in the paper the other day. Born 1926. nn Ivy

Never seen it before. Not sure how I feel about it, but kinda cool having a name to use Ivy for.

Thoughts?

My son started taking Tae Kwon Do and on the wall they have a bunch of black belts and the names of the individuals working toward them. Ages probably range from 10 to adult.

I finished up a book last night and was reading the acknowledgements. The author wished to thank her two daughters:
Dalin Alexi and Light Ayli

I was out today and heard a mother shouting her young son, who was about 4-years old.

It was pronounced like "Kay-low".

No idea how it's spelled. Could be any of these: Calo, Caylo, Kalo, Kaylo.

Off topic: I have fallen in love with a name that I kind of made up in my head: Marloe, for a girl. If I did use it, it would be dedicated to a beautiful little village that me and my family like in south-west Wales: Marloes.

I'm pregnant with my 4th child. We have 3 girls and won't find out the sex of this one until birth.

Our girls, in birth order, are Emilie Claire, Hannah Paige, and Leah Dean. We're having a hard time falling in love with any names for this baby. We are hoping to have a short list for each sex and choose after we meet him/her.

Some I have on my half assed list are:
Harlan
Grant
Holden
Harrison
Bennett (Ben)
Alexander (Alex)
Chase
Holden

Audrey
Clara
Felicity
Cora
Lucy (too close to Leah?)
Stella
Molly
Caroline (Callie)

I'm not totally in love with any of these names and some I'm close to axing because they just aren't singing to me. But that's our basic style. Any other suggestions? I think it would be super cool if we kept with all the kids having different initials but that's not a must. I also know some sound very US southern, which I'm okay with because we're southerners. ;)

Hello :)

Me and my partner are trying for our first child which is so exciting! We've had a boys name picked out for about three years and decided to use his father's name for the middle name, after he passed away last year, so the full name is Jensen Mark L*********.

But we are having a lot of trouble with girls names. All the ones I love, he hates :(

We thought we'd found one that we liked which was Callie (although I preferred the spelling Cali) but I was talking to my mum about it and she pointed out that as SO's surname is a double L sound it was a bit...meh...

Names I like are:
Adrienne
Aeyrn
Callie/Cali
Erica
Esme
Lydia
Madison (nn Maddie)
Malia
Peyton
Robyn (this is the only one aside from Callie that SO actually kinda liked)

Middle name will definitely be Rose (for my granny who passed a few years ago.)

I have spent hours and hours going through websites and I can't find anything I like!

Suggestions?
