Hello :)

Me and my partner are trying for our first child which is so exciting! We've had a boys name picked out for about three years and decided to use his father's name for the middle name, after he passed away last year, so the full name is Jensen Mark L*********.

But we are having a lot of trouble with girls names. All the ones I love, he hates :(

We thought we'd found one that we liked which was Callie (although I preferred the spelling Cali) but I was talking to my mum about it and she pointed out that as SO's surname is a double L sound it was a bit...meh...

Names I like are:
Adrienne
Aeyrn
Callie/Cali
Erica
Esme
Lydia
Madison (nn Maddie)
Malia
Peyton
Robyn (this is the only one aside from Callie that SO actually kinda liked)

Middle name will definitely be Rose (for my granny who passed a few years ago.)

I have spent hours and hours going through websites and I can't find anything I like!

Suggestions?

It would help if you listed what he likes instead of the ones only you like.

Farscape! I will always have a soft spot for Aeryn Sun. And Vala for that matter.

I know one Jenson he has a sister Briony Rose.

Some random names Anya, Anthea 'Thea', Andrea, Matilda, Imogen, Claudia, Nora?

Thea can definitely stand on its own. I added it to my list recently along with Ingrid, Greta & Thora.

Can only think of Theodora or Dorothea.

I love Anthea because it combines a few of my favourites Athena/Andrea & Theo (which my nephew is called, so cant used)

i think callie is fine even with the double l in the last name.
if she marries and takes her husbands last name she may have it longer than her maiden name!
my parents didnt name me rhiannan because my maiden name started with an.

I agree here, I think Callie would sound fine even with the double L.
