My grandma passed away last year and her name was Sally Anne. I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant and the other night my partner & I were trying to think of names that we could use to "honor" her. I came up with nothing. I already have a cousin (who is my age) named Sally, so that's out. My middle name is Ann (my mom always says it should have been spelled Anne) so my partner suggested using that as a middle name? The only name I could find that seemed similar to Sally was Tally/Taliah (or some variation of it) which I'm really not a fan of.

I also need something that's not too weird with my current daughter. She's Gabrielle Kathryn (with the nickname of Gabby that is SO fitting).

We can find out next week what the baby is if we want to, but I'm still undecided. I'd like a surprise. I like Oliver (Ollie) & Josephine (JoJo). He likes Jayden (I'm not sure how it's spelled??). We both kind of like Bailey and Jonas.

Two girls I met today. I only know the correct spellings because they were monogrammed on their backpacks! They were sisters, not twins.

Kristene (prn Christine) & Kierren (prn "Keer-en")

Edit: I can't believe I forgot to mention that two friends of mine had babies (that makes three babies born in the past two weeks for my friends!)

Owen Michael (Parents: Jenna & Dan)
Lily Mayari (siblings: Destiny & Kai, parent: Elizabeth)

I'm watching a german tv show about obese people who want to lose weight.
The mother's name is Sigrid and the father's Ralph. Their daughter's name:

Teila-Jane.

Imogen Jean

Personally, I trip over it a bit; -gen and Jean are too close. I don't like the name Imogen, I don't think that it's pretty, but I kind of like Jean, in a retro-nostalgic way. DH has vetoed Jeannie, but I want to sneak it back onto the list!

There is a woman who frequents the shop I work in. Covered in tattoos and piercings and she's probably late 30s I want to say? Anyway, she has a few kids. Today she had two boys and a girl [though they were all around the 4, 5 or 6 mark, I'm sure I've seen her pushing a pram as well.] Today I discovered that the daughter is called Star. She told her off for annoying her brother and called her by her name. I'm not much of a fan myself but it could be worse.

Edit: Someone commented on this entry saying I'm sounding terribly judgemental. To clarify, I have tats and piercings and bizarre clothes. I expected unusual names for the kids because of her different look, but somehow Star still caught me off guard.
