No actual kids will be named as a result of this, but for the fictional children of entirely fictional people, I'm drawing a blank on the third one.

They have a David and an Ashley (f), and the third child will be a girl. The parents are pretty down-to-earth people, both military/former military. In order to flow, I think the third name needs to be fairly classic, something well-used, but nothing's jumping out at me.

I was playing Draw Something and I have it synced with my FB. The random person I ended up playing with must have had their's too. Their name was Destoni. Really not my cup of tea...:/ It's a word changed with kree8tyvne55 to make it look more like a name imo.

So my husband and I are talking about names. We're planning in ttc in the next six months or so. The last name is one syllable and starts and ends with a "k" sound, similar to cluck.

Names we've been discussing:
Isla- I adore this but it's sooo popular here in the UK..
Isabel- pretty much the same as above, hubby hates it though
Kyla- I like this, it's less popular than Isla but has similar sounds. Is it too similar to the last name?
Leona
Esther
Maisie
Darcy
Matilda - hubby says its too old fashioned?

Middles would be Sophie/Kate/Maria or possibly Annabelle/Annabella

Boys:
Elliott- but we're worried it's too close to our niece Ellie?
Reuben
Ciaran- again, worried about the alliteration?

Middles: James, John, Charles, Peter.

What'd you think? Any suggestions of similar names we might like?

This show is a beacon of horrid names and spellings! Last week's episode: a beautiful little girl about 7 years old was saddled with the name of Vegas, and was dressed like a show girl. Any ideas what her parents would like her to be when she is grown?! 😉
