Which do you prefer and why?

I've always favoured Claire, but Clara is a family name (great grandma) and it's really grown on me recently.

Also, FN or MN? What would you pair it with?

Trinity

I like this as a name for a little girl. It has a speical meaning to me since it is the name of the county I grew up in, and reminds me of home. :) Probaly won't get used since my DB is so darn picky... So I would say Trinity is a guilty pleasure that has a speical meaning to me. What are some names that are meaningful to you but you would never really use?

Ava Joy
Twins: Thomas Martin & Andrew Herman (James)
Noah Patrick (Joshua)
Alexandra Jessica Ann (Roman)
Erik William
Nathaniel Rafael (Gabriel)
Shayne Georgia Linn (Jarren, Emmett, Caeden)

I like just about all of these names, except the last ones (especially Shayne, especially spelled that way, and on a girl no less). The sibset of Thomas, Andrew and James is especially great.

And just a couple more:

Lorelai Lilly (this one fails on so many levels for me)
Chloe Isabella Patricia

Ok, I've been spending too much time hanging around this comm... I had a dream last night that I met male twins named Winnie (as in, the Pooh) and Dole (like Bob Dole) and I was so horrified I was going to post it here. On the dream internetz.

Also, IRL: my brother met a set of sisters recently named Denver, Topeka and Phoenix.
WDYT?
At least they didn't name the kids Topeka, Phoenix and Sarah. Doesn't make sense when one kid gets left out of the zany naming scheme.

Boy sibset

EDITED: cuz the comments didnt seem to get my questions :P ... I wanted names OTHER THAN the ones i mentioned that sound nice as a sibset with my girls names, not combos of the names i already have. :)

So my SO likes my 3 girls names, especially the first two:
Tessa (middle name would be Carmella for all these, after my mom and grandma)
Avery
Audrey

But he doesnt like my favorite boy name which is James. We totally had a big debate about it because he would want to call him Jimmy or Jim and I dont really like either of those!. He does like Leo though which is another fave of mine. He and his dad and grandpa have this like rotating name drop "schedule" haha where his grandpa is Victor Robert, his dad is Robert Steve, and his name is Steve Victor. so if this continued our boy would be named Victor Robert  which I don't like at all so we dont really agree on that :P I wouldnt mind Robert as a middle name, or if he wanted, Steve as a Middle name though.

SOO, Anyone have any suggestions for boy names that go well as a sibset with my girls names? :) and/or go well with middle names of Robert or Steve

thanks!

PS Steve is just Steve, not Steven or Stephen.. his birth certificate says Steve in case the issue comes up about it being a nickname or shortened version or whatever. So if we had a boy and named him Leo that would be it. no leonardo or leonard or whatever. And my name is Tara :)

What are some old-fashioned boy names that would go well with Edith? I have found alot of good lists of old-fashioned girl names I like (Edith, Dorothy, Ada, Cora, etc.) but I can't find anything good for a boy,...

Think Ralph, Archie, Gerard, Wilbur. My list pretty much ends there because I can't think of anything else and the lists I'm finding don't seem to be helping!

Thanks!

While i was reading a turkish newspaper is saw this name:

Mavi (blue) Rüzgar (wind) .

Parents are Baris (peace) Falay and Esra Ronabar who are known as actors in varous turkish tv shows.
Edited : I forgot to mention that it is a boy.

Word names are very popular in Turkey.
