i met a 3 legged golden lab/retriever today named Emitt. now i don't really like the name Emmett, it's not my style, but i think looks wise i prefer the Emitt spelling..

Lol now *that* would have been a clever spelling (and a bad pun) as opposed to Emitt which just looks like they can't spell.

I know most creative spellings are deliberate but it always looks to me like they just couldn't spell the name they wanted to use.
