so my Fiance' and I are having a baby and we are considering carrying on his families tradition of using unisex names, so im wondering what some of your favorite andro-names are.

his Mother is Patty
his father is Kelly
fiance's name is Cary Yon
and his brother is Stacy Adam

we are not sure yet if we are having a boy or a girl... so i would like to hear your favorites for both sexes.

I'm currently running student elections where I work, and one of the best bits is taking names when people vote. First, I've noticed that there seem to be a lot of people with the rather unfortunate surname of Cockburn. Second, there are a lot of unusual names out there.

Some that I remembered, because I couldn't note them down, were:

Comfort
Leander
Odie
Morrisey
Michael and Luke, both girls
Anderlea


Also, a friend of the family over in Ireland has a son, about five years old, named Brè. Pronounced Bray, it's apparently the Galic name of a seaside town in Dublin. Just wondering what people thought?

Also, and this question is directed to anyone living outside the UK, how would you pronounce the name Leicester?

My best friend is pregnant with her first child, a boy, and she is dead set on the name Nicodemus. Personally, it's not my favorite. What do you guys think?

What do you think of the name Cassidy for a girl?

I really love the name. It seems kind of wild/western without being too OMFG WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THAT?!?!?!
Plus, Cass or Cassie as a nickname is cute as well.

I really have the HARDEST time finding girls names that I like but I really love this one.

I'm have no idea why all 8 of those kids have the same middle name, why Aidan doesnt have a middle name, or what her fasination with the sound of "Kai" is.. like, really. I guess coming up with names for 14 kids is a daunting task. =\
