Zephyr [greek god of the west wind also known as Zephyrus]
I love it, absolutely love it. I think it goes well with Nicodemus Zephyr.

dWhat are everyone's favorite Geographical names for girls and boys? They can be cities or towns or even countries. It really doesn't matter.

Here are mine: India, Ireland and Madison. That last one was the capital of Wisconsin. How about everyone else?

This article popped up when I went to check my email today and of course I thought of this community. While I'm sure they could have found some more awful names for the list, the last one amused me.

10 Worst Baby Names of 2007

ps: I looked back 3 pages and didn't see this posted, so sorry if it's a repeat.

Just heard this name: Eveny

It stuck in my head for some reason, and I can't decide how I feel about it, if it's kind of pretty or not that nice.

WDYT? Ever head it before? I couldn't find it on any name sites, does it seem made up?

Robert Rodriguez named his 5 kids:

Rocket (m)
Racer (m)
Rebel (m)
Rogue (m)
Rhiannon (f)

WDYT?

Everyone preaches a lot about giving children "suitable" adult names and leaving the cutesy alone, but I kind of admire people who have the guts to be kooky and fun when naming their kids. Obviously they don't care what other people think, or maybe they're just stupid - I don't know.

I don't know if any of you have ever heard of "Reminisce" magazine, but it covers all sorts of things from 1900-1960's.
There are an abundance of names, and I thought I'd share some of the ones I came across while reading:
(m) = Male
(f) = Female

Junius (m)
Archie
Bettina (f)
Geraldine
Doris
Crawford (m)
Johnsie (f)
Clarence
Delone (m)
Denny
Miriam
Nellie
Marjorie
Ranora (f)
Mavis
LaNelle

I liked Geraldine, Archie, Miriam, and Clarence. Any opinions?

A mother of a little boy at my preschool had a baby,

Addison Grace

Siblings:
Lauren
Brendan

I like it, but Addison is very popular and it seems like she stole it from Grey's Anatomy (addison obviously from the character, but seattle GRACE hospital)

WDYT?
