I'm rather fond of William myself. I love the potential of Will and Liam as nicknames. Never Willy, Willie, Billy, or Bill, though. And I rather adore William Gabriel. It's one of our top choices. *nods*

Daniel is my husband's name - which would make William Daniel a little wierd, IMO. Thank you for the other suggestions, though!

In my family, basically all of our middle names come from parents or grandparents!

My eldest son is Kaleb John. (John from his father's father, who is deceased. It was an honorary thing.) And my youngest son is Tristan David. (David from my father, who was honored. *nods*) We just don't want to use Daniel, methinks.

William, Jackson and Nicolas happen to be on my top five for boys (Charles and Joshua are the other two) so i can't pick. :(

I LOVE William so much more than Nicholas. I don't mind Nicholas either, but William is one of my very favourite names for a boy.

For middle names I like Alexander and James.
