Since joining this community I've been thinking a lot about  my name and my sister's names.  And I've noticed something interesting.
Our names are (oldest to youngest)

Caroline (me)

Claire

Alice

Notice anything?

Okay,  take a couple letters out of Caroline, mess the rest up and you make Claire.
Take the R out of Claire and mess them up,  you get Alice.

Like I said,  too much time on my hands!

Besides Abram and Abraham, are there any names Bram can be a nickname for?

 I just heard this name.

Kansas.

Idk if it's a boy or a girl but I don't like it for either.

WDYT?

I had never really given much thought to Sophie, so here it is. I'm leaning more towards Sophie Amelia, but I am not sure if it makes the first name sound like Sophia.

If you guys happen to pick Tate/Tait (though I don't think many will) please clarify which spelling is nicer.

And the last name is supposed to be SOPHIE Isabella, sorry. :)

Imagine you have 10 children. Use the following descriptors to name your brood, and comment if you actually like/dislike the names you have used.

1. use year of birth to determine - male in odd years, female in even years
first name after your grandparents or parents, second name after a place (town, state, country, etc)

2. right handed = male, left = female
first name must end in -son, second name longer than 7 letters

3. & 4. toss a coin twice, heads = m, tails = female
first names after musicians, second names something environmental

5. female
top girls name

6. male
top boys name

7. your choice male/female
first name after a television character, second after a literary character

8. wearing a watch = male, not wearing a watch = female
first name something common, second name also something common

9. how many letters in your name? odd=male, even = female
first name something alternative/odd but you like, second name consisting of less than 4 letters

10. sex of sibling closest in age to you (if only child, use cousin or other family member... if all else fails, use a pet!)
same initials as you, eg if your name is Sarah Lee (lol... icecream!) number nine must have the initials S. L.

He hates it!! Boo!! =(

I even showed him how we got over 20 comments on how everyone likes Lydia over Layla... didn't convince him. He thinks Lydia is an "old lady" name. WHAT!?! I figure it will eventually grow on him, either that, or I just get my way anyway (like I always do). I picked the twins names, so what should change now? Ha ha! Who's having this baby? Yeah, that's right you silly man you.

I'm set, Lydia Jane it is. He has to deal with it. Old lady name... WHATEVER! Men. Pffft.

WDYT of Daphne?

How 'bout Bessie?

Bessie's cute but it reminds me of a cow.
And I kinda like Daphne.
