What does everyone feel about the name Dash for a man? I heard it on some cheesy Sci- Fi movie and hated the character but did like the name.

Also my neice was just born a short while ago and my brother named her Charlotte Ann- I really like it! I liked it better than Sonny- whom his fiance was going to name if it were a boy. No offense to anyone who may but I really do not care for the name Sonny at all! :/

Okay--last thing. I know I've said to people before they should never let themselves be forced to use a name they hate-- compromise is great, but both parents need to be happy with the name. Well, my fiance loves, loves, <i>loves</i> two names-- Mary and Alice. Mary is just out-- my name is Meredith and I don't want a daughter named Mary ( unless I have twins--Mary and Edith? Wouldn't that be horrible? :) ) Well, I don't want to be a total ogre, so I'm trying to warm up to Alice and I'm coming to terms with using it as a middle name but not as a first name. Gah, it would help if my fiance liked more names! He's said he's liked these names since he was young and really wants to use them (he really wants to use them together-- Mary Alice.. it just sounds so nasally  to me).

Anyway, any idea of names that will go well with Alice? Preferably for Alice for a middle name. Other names we're liking are Jonah Edward and.. well, keeping the first name secret, but ends in '-lyn' and Esme (Ez-mee) for a middle name. We also.. guilty pleasure.. like 'Prism' and I suggested Prism Alice to my fiance.. he seemed to like it. Suggestions?

yeah!!! so my oldest (step)sister just had her baby and...............

( It's a girl! )

She hasn't been "put in the oven to brown" yet, as my step-dad says. AND... just found out that my (step)brother and his fiancee are expecting what was not expected just yet.... she's about two months along.

so, i shall be an aunt again either end of this year or early next! :-D

man , that's three siblings down and three to go - only two of which are of proper baby-having age. lol (youngest sister is only 15).

from oldest to youngest;

khalen (cal-lynn) [b]
kolben [b]
kadence [g]

what do you think?
personally, kadence is my number one girl name but i wouldn't choose that spelling, but i think it goes great with the sibset.
i really love all the names!

also;
the mom in the show is having another kid! she didn't say the name but what name would go good to finish up the sibset?
definitely a k name!
