I like the nickname Lee for a girl, inspired by Lee Miller.
Any ideas for girls names with Lee as a possible nickname?

..Gedde?

I've been thinking about Gedde/Geddy for a boy. The problem is that while researching the name I found it as a nickname for "Gary", that is true for Geddy Lee of Rush, and Gedde Watanabe of Sixteen Candles fame, the only Gedde/ys that I have found. I do not like the name Gary. Has anyone run across a Gedde / Geddy / or even Getty, who was not a Gary?

Thanks

I want to thank everyone that replied to my post a few days ago about the 4 girl names.
We have chosen India:)

Many of you didn't like Kamille. I probably better explain why it is spelled with a K. Kamille means Camomile in Danish. So it had nothing to do with the frensh word Camille which means perfect:)

Oh yes, and someone asked about what the middle name was gonna be. It's gonna be Alvild. Which means Fairy in old nordic:)

I saw the others' posts and decided to share mine...

Thanks to everyone who put in their two cents on my last post. Seems "Edge" is split about 70-30, majority ruling that it's not meant to be a human being's name, hehe.

As for Jericho, we've decided upon Jericho Richard. Richard was suggested a couple times, and it makes perfect sense for us personally. Richard is my husband's middle name, and was his father's first name. And I still get my precious Jericho! Yay!

Now here's the continuing problem: A female name! Jason is horrible at picking out names (and admits to it too), and I just do not like female names. I don't know why, but I've always felt that most female names are either too girly, too old-sounding, or just flat out stupid.

So doing some searching I made a small list of names I like enough to actually use. I'd like some opinions on them, suggestions for combinations, and/or suggestions for better middle names for them. Anything really, even if it's negative, because negative feedback doesn't phase me. For instance, when I'd listed some of these names in another post, I was told they sounded like strippers. LOL!

Scramble!

Here's another game. Take your name and the name of your significant other, scramble them, and see how many names you can come up with from both sets of letters!

If you don't have a significant other, choose the name of the guy/girl you like, or else use your first and last names.

What do you come up with?

Spellings.

I really like the girl names, Freyja and Isolde, as well as their variants. I'm wondering which one do you think is the nicest?

Here are some I have come across:

Freyja, Freya, Freja, Frejya

Isolde, Isolte, Iseult, Yseult, Isotta.

Any more spellings? Or which one of these?
