Where are you from? Madison and its various spellings have been topping popular GIRL-name charts for years. Whitney and Kelley are hardly considered exclusively male names anymore, either. And even if they CAN be used for either, I think they're much too feminine sounding anyways. And the "unique teenager" comments are hardly necessary.

My point is that regardless of origin, Madison has been a popular girl name for at least the past decade. For that reason, it's unfair to accuse the poster of trying to be unique for assigning Madison as a girl's name.
As for Whitney and Kelley, these are also more popular for girls in America than boys, but it's just my own opinion that the their endings ("-ly"; "-ee") sound feminine.

I know a Hadley, a Whitney and several Kelly's...all girls. In fact I've NEVER known a guy with those names. So they may have been intended for boys but they are used for girls now.

How would you pronounce Ashlanne? Because if both syllables are emphasized it sounds awkward, and if not then the spelling is a little awkward. I like Reagan but it reminds me of the Exorcist haha eek. Aaralyn and Ainsley are different, they remind me of someone I know named Aislinn. Cute, though :)

Well i think these are all nice names =]

One of my best friends names is Brendan Elliot [First and last name] so it made me laugh that these were consecutive on your list =D
and Oakley is on my list of boys names, but it looks nice for a girl as well i think.
