We found out that we're having a girl today (well I guess it's "yesterday" now, since it's after midnight), and my daughter wanted to write a list of names for the baby. She's 4, by the way... so she dictated to my sister names, dictated the spelling, and the pronunciation (and even what the girl should look like, so there's a stick figure by each one). I found them quite hysterical, hopefully you will too. :-)

I had a friend in middle school and high school whose mom got pregnant when we were in 9th grade.  I thought I'd post the name they used and the name they were going to use if he turned out to be a girl.

Girl: Eva Marais (Muh-ray) Marais is for Grand Marais in Northern Minnesota, they apparently went there a lot in the summer.
Boy: Kendrick Casey "KC" this is the name they ultimately used.

What do you think of the name Quentin? I've been obsessed with it for a good long while. And Lephise? I like Tristan as well, what are your thoughts?

I was going to change my name to Quentin even though I'm a girl cause I hate the name Nadia so so much....everyone pronounces it nar-dia, which sounds so ugly  - but I got persuaded out of it, luckily.
