It's been awhile since I've posted in here due to us having our names picked out or at least half decided on early on.
Anywho, we still are decided on Lyric Marie for a girl and we had agreed on Matthew Allen for a boy but due to recent events I have changed my mind.Any of u who haven't read any of my posts lately my babys dad and I aren't together but had been making a lot of plans and suddenly a couple weeks ago it just went down hill and because of his actions I have decided if we have a boy to name him after a friend of mine from childhood who passed away a couple years ago.
So if we have a boy his name will be Joshua Allen after my friend, but we will still put the Allen part on there. Allen is the owner of the bar we met at thru friends and are regulars at which to him kinda makes us family.Sooo since it's an important part of how we met we thought it would be nice to use his name for a middle name.

My SO doesn't understand why I would want to name my son after Josh no matter how much any of us try to explain it.Anyone have any ideas?All he says is that I better not think we're naming our son after a dead person as if I'm just picking a name randomly from a tombstone or something.grrr

So what does everyone think of the name Joshua David Allen?Honestly, no hard feelings if u tell me u don't like it. :)

I like collecting names, but I help out at a Brownie pack so I have tons of girls names that I like. The few boys names I like are:

Zack
Noah (though perhaps a little weak)
Nathan
Seth
Justin (I love it, but it is my boyfriend's name)
Lucas
Max

Also, names which may grow on me are:

Miles
Skyler
Jacob
Damien
Russell (I like this name but I once spoke to someone who was ashamed to be called Russell)

Oh, and I also like Theo but my brother is called Leo so I don't think I could ever call a child it, but possibly a middle name. Apart from I have liked Winter as a middle name (that is the name of my miscarried baby).
So, what do you think? Any suggestions?

Does anyone know of any boys names that I might like? Thank you all for your input already :) Also, do you think any of the names might be cruel?
