i know what you mean-and some names I love but know someone with that name that I hate. like Beth-i always liked the name but my half sister is Beth Ann and I hate her (see posts about her!) And then there's my last name (eddy) which sucks because lots of cute names sound horrible with our last name LOL

I LOVE the name Brynn. My mom babysat a girl from a family with Irish roots (they said that's where the name came from) and her name was Brynn. I thought it was weird then b/c I'd never heard of it, but now I think it's beautiful.

Actually Brynn is a Welsh name (it means hill).
It's more common for boys, but well I guess pretty much everything can be unisex these days.

I quite like too, am partial to Welsh names as that's part of my heritage.

Edie is a girl's name. It's pronounced "EE-DEE," not "EH-DEE." Sometimes short for Edwina.

Gwendolyn is spelled correctly.

Brynn (or Bryn) I think is gorgeous. I really like Fallon, too but there is NO WAY I can convince my husband that it is'nt about Jimmy. I have heard it before w/ girls and they seem to be functioning fine in their social circles.

Corbin is my favorite boys' name at the moment. I love it!
