Date: 2008-01-18 03:32 pm (UTC)I like the sound of it - but I wouldn't name my child it. Because of the pronunciation problems that she would have and others would have.

Date: 2008-01-19 05:02 am (UTC)Its a lovely name if you dont live somewhere where french is the first language... I love the name Syrene ( or Sirène ) but in french it means mermaid (2nd spelling) and I live in Quebec so I just cant do that to my daughter, even if it is the perfect combination of my husbands mother and grandmothers names and my mothers name. ( Irene, Cecile, and Simone )

Date: 2008-01-21 05:30 pm (UTC)I don't really like Jerzie in any variation. It reminds me of cows. If I had ever been to New Jersey and had pleasant memories of it, I'm sure I'd feel differently about it, though.
