Jan. 9th, 2008 02:21 pmI posted a few days ago about an old friend who is having a little girl named Cerys Michele. There were a few questions, so I sent my friend an email.
She said Cerys was pronounced as "Carys." She said she wasn't aware that "Ceres" was a name, but that she'd looked into it after I mentioned it and now she thinks she's going to go with the "Carys" spelling, to avoid any confusion.
Michele is to honor the baby's paternal grandmother, so they are definitely going with the one-l spelling.
And, uh...that's it.
