My friend calls her grandfather Poppy. And I also think of the word "poppycock". Despite those two reactions, I think it's kind of cute!

haha. i didnt even think about poppycock!
i know a woman who named her daughter this, its a nn and once i met the little girl it seemed to fit her.
but still....it is gradnfatherly
